Punjab election 2022: Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal, who is campaigning vigorously for the Punjab Assembly elections, is continuously doing rounds of Punjab. He has claimed to form the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab and has promised development on the lines of Delhi. In this sequence, on Saturday in Amritsar, Arvind Kejriwal said that we need at least 80 seats for a stable government in Punjab. At the same time, he said on the issue of security during PM Modi’s era in Punjab that Punjab is a border state and the border is fragile from the point of view of state security, so there should be no politics regarding PM and internal security. If it does then it is not right.
Campaigning for the elections in Punjab is intensifying. Voting in the state is to be held on February 20. The Aam Aadmi Party has announced Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial candidate for the Punjab Assembly elections.
Let us tell you that the Congress has fielded the sitting MLA Dalvir Singh Goldie from Dhuri against Bhagwant Mann. While Shiromani Akali Dal has fielded Prakash Chand Garg from Dhuri assembly seat. Dhuri is one of the assembly constituencies of Sangrur parliamentary seat. From where Mann has been a two-time MP.
Polling for 117 assembly seats in Punjab will be held on February 20, while the nomination process is over now. Along with Punjab, elections are being held in four other states. The election results of all these states will come on March 10.
