Axis Bank Independence Day Offers: Two days later, India will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Independence (Azadi Amrit Mahotsav). To celebrate this Amritkal, tremendous preparations are going on in different parts of the country. The country’s largest private sector bank i.e. Axis Bank has come up with a great offer for its customers.

The bank is offering an interest rate of 6.05% on FDs of 75 weeks (Axis Bank FD Rates) i.e. FDs of 1 year 5 months and 7 days. Also, senior citizens are getting extra benefits. The bank is getting them an interest rate of 6.80% on FD of 75 weeks.

When is the offer valid?
The bank has come up with the Independence Day Special FD Scheme for its customers. If you want to take advantage of this offer, then you have to open an FD account for 75 weeks from 11 August 2022 to 25 August 2022. The deposit of FD should be less than Rs 2 crore.

Giving information about this special offer, Axis Bank has given information by tweeting from its official Twitter handle. In its tweet, the bank said, ‘Special FD rate for a special occasion! To celebrate the 75th anniversary of our independence, we are inviting our senior citizens to open FD accounts at an interest rate of 6.80%.

FD rates available to common people (FDs of less than 2 crores)

  • 7 to 14 days – 2.50%
  • 15 to 29 days – 2.50%
  • 30 to 45 days-3.00%
  • 46 to 60 days-3.00%
  • 61 to 3 months-3.00%
  • 3 to 4 months-3.50%
  • 4 to 5 months-3.50%
  • 5 to 6 months-3.50%
  • 6 to 7 months -4.65%
  • 7 to 8 months -4.40%
  • 8 to 9 months -4.65%
  • 9 to 10 months -4.75%
  • 10 to 11 months -4.75%
  • 11 to less than 1 year – 4.75%
  • 1 year to 1 year 5 days -5.45%
  • 1 year to 5 days to 11 years 11 days -5.45%
  • 1 year 25 days to 14 months -5.60%
  • FD of 13 to 17 months – 5.60%
  • 18 months to less than 2 years – 5.60%
  • 2 years to 30 months -5.70%
  • 3 to 5 years -5.70%
  • 5 to 10 years -5.75%
