Coronavirus In India: The tension of Corona Pandemic is not over yet. Once again the number of patients infected with corona has started increasing in the country. In view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19, the center has also come into action mode. Due to this, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the health secretaries of Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Delhi, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
In the capital of the country alone, more than 2 thousand cases of corona have been reported. Corona infection is spreading very fast in Delhi. On the other hand, more than one thousand infection cases have been reported in Maharashtra. The Health Ministry has instructed these states to monitor the rising cases of corona properly so that the infection can be prevented from spreading. The crisis of Corona is deepening in every state of the country.
Increase in daily cases
In the week ending August 5, 8.2 percent of India’s weekly new cases have been reported from Delhi. An increase of 1.86 times has been recorded in the average daily cases. Delhi has also registered an increase in the weekly infection rate, which increased from 5.90 percent in the week ended July 29 to 9.86 percent in the week ending August 5.
Kovid crisis in Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka
The highest number of corona cases in the country are coming from Kerala. 12,344 patients are active in Kerala while 12,077 cases are being said to be active in Maharashtra at number two. Karnataka ranks third in terms of active patients, where 11,067 patients are being treated. After this, this number is 10,987 in Tamil Nadu and 10,858 in Punjab.
