Significant reduction in the number of patients getting treatment in the country
After about 40 days in India, the number of daily cases of Kovid-19 remained less than 50,000. On January 4, 37 thousand 379 new cases of infection were reported in the country. For the seventh consecutive day in India, the number of daily cases of infection was less than one lakh. Currently, 5,37,045 corona virus infections are being treated in the country, which is 1.26 percent of the total cases of infection. The national rate of recovery of patients in the country is 97.55 percent.

On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed two crores and on June 23, 2021, crossed three crores. On 26 January this year, the cases crossed four crores.
156 new cases of Kovid-19 in Thane
After 156 more people were found infected with the corona virus in Thane district of Maharashtra, the total number of epidemic cases has increased to 7,07,222 and after the death of one more patient, the death toll has increased to 11,846. 512 new cases of Kovid-19 came in West Bengal

2,177 new cases of corona virus infection in Rajasthan

11,136 new cases of Kovid-19 came in Kerala

Meanwhile, officials of the Union Territory of Ladakh said that after 61 new cases of infection in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people has increased to 27,400. Of the new cases, 50 are from Leh while 11 cases are from Kargil district. Officials said that no infected have died during the last 24 hours and the death toll is stable at 226. He said that 74 patients have become infection free during the last 24 hours, including 26,604 patients in Ladakh who have been cured. Officials said that there are currently 570 patients under treatment in Ladakh.
