Delhi Corona News: New cases of corona in Delhi have raised alarm bells. In the last 24 hours, 2136 new cases have come and 10 people have died due to corona infection. During this, the corona infection rate i.e. positivity rate has been recorded at 15.02 percent. According to the health bulletin issued by the Delhi government, 2623 people have recovered after the last 24 hours of treatment. The number of active cases ie active cases has gone up to 8343.

According to the Health Bulletin of Delhi, 14225 samples have been tested in a day. Corona has 5676 patients in home isolation. There are 531 patients of Corona admitted in different hospitals of Delhi. The number of containment zones is 283. So far 26367 people have died in the national capital due to Corona.

In the last 24 hours, 6583 people were given a dose of corona vaccine. The first dose of corona was given to 252 people. There were 827 people who took the second dose of Corona. There were 5504 people who have been given precaution doses. 68 people in the age group of 15 to 17 years were vaccinated.

Amidst the rapid increase in the cases of Kovid-19 in Delhi, shopkeepers in the markets here are trying to ensure that customers come wearing masks and follow social distancing. However, they are facing difficulties in implementing these rules. Shopkeepers say that people have become careless and are not following the protocol.

The Delhi government has recently reiterated that wearing masks in public places is mandatory and a fine of Rs 500 will be imposed for violating it. Traders fear that markets, which are still trying to recover from past waves of inflation and the Kovid-19 pandemic, will be banned if cases continue to rise.
