Delhi Government School: There are so many principal’s posts lying vacant in Delhi’s government schools, teachers are also in bad condition, know what the figures say


Delhi Government School Vacant Posts: Delhi Government Schools have good shortage of manpower from principal to teachers. This thing came out when the Directorate of Education shared the data. If told in details, out of the total 950 posts of principals, only 154 posts are filled while 83.7 percent i.e. 796 posts have not been appointed. That is, so many posts are lying vacant. Most of these schools are run by Vice Principals.

Vice Principal’s posts are also vacant –
According to TOI report, where many government schools in Delhi are run by Vice Principals, there are many such schools where Vice Principals are also there. Not even the principal. If we talk in numbers, out of 1670 posts of Vice Principal, 565 posts i.e. about 34 percent posts are lying vacant.

what is the condition of teachers –
This was the condition of principal and vice principals. Now if we talk about teachers, out of the total concentration 65,979 posts of teachers, 21,910 posts i.e. about 33 percent posts are lying vacant. These vacancies were filled by 20,498 guest teachers, yet even guest teachers were not available to fill 1502 posts. That is, the posts of 1502 teachers are still lying vacant.

what is the possible reason –
A Delhi government source says that the recruitment of principals is done by UPSC. The examination is finally over and it is expected that soon appointments will be made to the principal posts. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board which directly reports to the center that the recruitment of teachers is being delayed due to some reasons. These positions will be filled soon.
