Delhi-NCR Weather Report Today 06 August 2022: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudy sky and light rain in Delhi-NCR on Saturday. After this, there is a normal degree of rain on Sunday, while there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle on Monday. After this the rain activities will decrease. The Meteorological Department says that due to the arrival of the monsoon trough in the middle of India, the monsoon activities in North India will weaken for the next one week and the humid summer will increase due to sunshine. The weather will be more or less similar in Noida and Gurugram.

Earlier, it rained in many parts of Delhi on Friday, giving relief to the people from the sultry heat. However, due to this, people in many areas had to face the problem of water logging. Delhi recorded 0.8 mm of rain from 8:30 am on Thursday to 8:30 am on Friday. On the other hand, 8.8 mm of rain was recorded from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on Friday. Ayanagar received the highest rainfall of 24.5 mm. At the same time, 15.1 mm of rain was recorded in Palam, 13 mm in Pusa and 7 mm in Sports Complex.

What will the weather be like in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram on Saturday?

  • On Friday, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded around 26.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 4 degrees below normal at 30.4 degrees Celsius.
  • The humidity level in the air was 86 to 92 percent.
  • The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is 26 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The sky will remain cloudy and there may be light rain.
  • The maximum temperature in Noida is expected to be 36.6 and the minimum temperature is 30.4 degree Celsius. It will be cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain or thundershowers.
  • The maximum temperature in Gurugram is 32 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 25 degree Celsius. It will be partly cloudy and one or two rain and thundershowers are expected.

Relief from ‘air pollution’ continues in Delhi-NCR

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has been recorded at 86 in the ‘satisfactory’ category on Saturday morning.
