Airtel has been at the forefront
Airtel has been at the forefront of 5G. Airtel has set a 5G first record in the last few years. For example, Airtel was the first company to test 5G technology in India in 2018. Since then, the company has conducted several other tests for the launch of 5G services. Last year, Airtel conducted the country’s first rural 5G trial on the outskirts of Delhi and was the first to conduct 5G trials on the 700 MHz band.
Recently, Airtel launched India’s first private 5G network at the BOSCH facility and partnered with Apollo Hospitals to launch the country’s first 5G connected ambulance. The brand also gave a glimpse into online gaming powered by Airtel 5G when it hosted India’s first cloud gaming showcase in 2021 with pro gamers – Mortal and Mamba.
