MP Covid Care Centre: Due to the slow pace of the third wave of Kovid-19 and the lack of new patients, the Indore district administration has closed the Maa Ahilya Kovid Care Center. This center is located in Radha Swami Satsang Beas Ground. This Kovid Care Center (CCC) is the largest in Madhya Pradesh and the second largest CCC in the country. According to the employees of Indore Health Department, it was started in April last year with 600 beds and keeping in view the need, the number of beds was increased to 6 thousand.

In the second wave of corona, 3500 patients benefited from it. It was started for the second time on January 5 and 200 patients were treated here. There are a total of 10 doctors here and many nurses and staff.

According to the centre, the last patient admitted during the third wave was on February 6, who was referred to a government hospital. ADM Abhay Bedekar said that as the third wave is nearing the end, no patients are being admitted here, in view of which Maa Ahilya Kovid Care Center has been closed from Thursday. He said that if it is needed again due to corona infection, then it will be started again.
