Crime in Kota: More than one case of theft is coming to the fore in Kota city. A day earlier, a case of theft of bones from the crematorium came to light in Udyog Nagar police station area. Today a sandalwood tree under tight security was stolen from CB Garden. The thieves took the tree by cutting and the 22 security guards posted by the UIT did not even notice. Now there is a stir in the administration. The UIT has made adequate arrangements for the protection of trees in CV Garden of Nayapura. An iron cage is placed around the trees.

The incident happened on Friday night. The matter came to light this morning when people reached the garden for a walk. Garden superintendent Manish Meena, in-charge of the garden, said that a report has been lodged at Nayapura police station about the theft of sandalwood trees. After getting information about the theft here, the officers also reached the spot and investigated.

22 guards have been deployed for security
