Ranjit Disal Solapur Teacher: The resignation of Maharashtra’s international award-winning teacher Ranjitsinh Disale was rejected by the Solapur Zilla Parishad (ZP) on Friday. This comes almost a month after Disale submitted his resignation. Teachers of Paritwadi Zilla Parishad School, Solapur, who won the Global Teacher Prize in the year 2020, are going to the US on Desale Fulbright Scholarship. According to Desale, while his six-month leave for the scholarship has been approved, he resigned because of the extension of his stay in the US to pursue higher education.
After the scholarship, this degree will be decided
Disale said that “Now that my resignation has been rejected, I will continue to engage with the Zilla Parishad as its employee. However, this will not change my plans to pursue higher education.” Desale has already enrolled at the University of Arizona to earn his master’s degree. He will achieve this degree after completing the Fulbright Scholarship.
The Zilla Parishad had ordered an inquiry
The Zilla Parishad had ordered an inquiry against Disale for not reporting on duty for 34 months and the inquiry committee found him absent from his original and deputation posts during this period. However, last month, Disale made Chief Minister Eknath Shinde And met Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, where he was assured that injustice would not be done to him.
