Chef Guntas took to Instagram to share the recipe and wrote alongside, “Craving a snack but can’t find guilt-free snacking options—this Makhana Chat could save the day for you! It’s easy to make, super delicious and quite nutritious!” Let’s take a look at the recipe:

Quick and Easy Recipe: How To Make Makhana Chaat In 10 Mins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of makhana / fox nuts/ lotus seeds
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • Chopped mint & coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Curd
  • Green chutney
  • Date & Tamarind Chutney
  • Roasted peanuts

Method:

  • Start by roasting makhanas in ghee until they turn crispy. Transfer them to a bowl once they cool down.
  • Now, add chopped tomatoes, onions, green chilli, mint and coriander leaves, and spices. Mix well.
  • Top it up with curd, green chutney, tamarind chutney, coriander leaves, roasted peanuts and a sprinkling of chaat masala.
