IPL 2021 RCB vs KKR: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has come out in support of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) all-rounder Daniel Christian and his partner Georgia Dunn, who were abused after losing in the Eliminator match of IPL 2021. Christian had told that his partner has been abused on Instagram posts.
KKR shared a video of wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik in which he is talking about abusing him on social media. Dinesh Karthik said, “Sometimes I feel that social media needs to be a right place. People don’t realize the seriousness of what they say, be it memes, videos or just words. It’s a matter of moments for them, they instinctively say what they feel there.”
In the video, the message was released saying, “Say no to hate. Cricketers often fall victim to online abuse. Time has come for us to take a strong stand against it. Wins and losses are part of any game. RCB and their We stand with the players.”

Kohli also on target of trolls
In the Indian Premier League (IPL)-14, the Eliminator match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Monday. In this match played in Sharjah, KKR defeated Virat Kohli-led RCB by 6 wickets. With this defeat, Kohli’s dream of winning the IPL trophy was also shattered.
