UGC grants permission to open all colleges and varsities, UGC has given green signal to start offline classes in all colleges and universities. The University Grants Commission has said that all higher education institutions can start offline classes keeping in mind their convenience and Kovid rules. The UGC also said that in which mode they want to conduct the classes, ie offline, online or blended mode, it is their own choice. Similarly they can also conduct examinations in any mode.
Kovid rules will have to be taken care of –
UGC has made it clear that all institutions have to conduct classes and examinations keeping in mind the Kovid rules. Whatever necessary precautions are to be taken and everyone’s safety has to be taken full care of.
Let us inform that offline classes have already been started in many educational institutions or instructions have been given in this regard. While many universities like JMI etc were still waiting for the instructions from UGC. However, now after getting the green signal from the UGC, the institutes can start classes according to their own.

The Commission has from time to time issued guidelines and advisories for the conduct of examinations in view of the academic calendar, examinations, reopening of institutions, the Kovid 19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
