Basti Crime News: A shocking case has come to light with the Kotedar of Dubulia village of Basti district. Darasal Dubouliya village’s female kotedar Suman did not even know and for 14 months the food mafia of the area kept raising ration in the eyes of the government officers in the name of female kotedar and kept embezzling it. The limit was reached when the ration for the rights of the poor of the village started selling in the market, and the poor continued to suffer for two times’ bread.

Raising their voice regarding this matter, the ration card holders of the village appealed to the officers. When the investigation of the case started, then this sensational case came to light. On embezzlement of ration, first the departmental officers sent a notice to the Kotdar Suman Devi, then the Kotdar said that till date he has neither taken the e-pass machine, nor has he ever picked up the ration available in the quota, so how can any other quota be in his name? Started running the shop. At present, the officers of the department conducted the investigation and in the investigation it was confirmed that the ration was not given to the consumers and the quota shop of Kotdar Suman Devi was suspended.
Against this matter, the District Supply Officer reached Kotdar Suman Devi to meet him. He alleged that he had been appointed as Kotedar of Semra village in Dubulia but he was not given a distribution register or e-pass machine to operate the quota. Nevertheless, the food mafia, along with some people of the Santlal District Supply Department, continued to lift the ration, but no one was aware of this.
After suspending the shop, the ration for the share of the people of Semra village will now be available at the quota shop of Tikriya village in the adjacent village. Suman, the suspended kotedar, has demanded a fair investigation in the whole matter. The supply officer of Haraiya area said that on the complaint of the villagers, the shop was suspended and after investigation in the matter, further action would be taken on the basis of facts.
